What the numbers mean

A message is a conversation segment stored in memory. An action is a search or a store, counted per day. Imports you run while getting started do not count toward either cap.

At the cap, recall of existing memory still works. New stores pause until you upgrade or, on the free tier, until older memories expire. You get email around 80% and 95%.

Encryption does not change with the plan. The passphrase still never reaches Retayn.

Billing runs through Stripe from the dashboard. Cancel when you want. The paid tier stays through the period you already paid.
