Service

Retayn provides encrypted memory storage and retrieval for AI tools, including Grok Bot, via MCP (Model Context Protocol) and supported plugins. The plugin is free to install. Hosted storage is optional and billed by plan. By using the service, you agree to these terms. The service is operated by AQ Development LLC.

Accounts

You are responsible for your API key and your encryption passphrase. On Grok Bot the passphrase lives on the bot’s computer. We cannot recover data if you lose the passphrase, and we cannot see it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Retayn to store illegal content, attempt to circumvent rate limits, or abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others.

Plans and billing

• Free: 10,000 messages, 30-day retention, 1,000 actions a day.
• Pro ($19 a month or $190 a year): 100,000 messages, kept until you delete them, 10,000 actions a day.
• Ultra ($49 a month or $490 a year): 1,000,000 messages, kept until you delete them, unlimited actions, priority support.

Subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.

Data and encryption

Memory content is encrypted on the client before upload. We do not and cannot access your plaintext. You are solely responsible for the passphrase. Agent tags and other metadata described in the privacy policy are not ciphertext.

Service availability

We aim for high availability and do not guarantee uptime. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

Retayn’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
